3 jolly shandys+1 jack and jill later...
the acid still lingering in my mouth.
the sour bitter taste, irremovable... not an unfamiliar taste but it tastes worse than brinjal in wasabi.
the solution? there is no solution.
adding an alkali will only neutralise the acid. does that solve it?
adding water will only dilute the acid but will not remove its presence.
so, how do i get rid of the acid?
thats simple. i should surgically remove the entire mouth, and replace it with a new one.
well, it'll definitely feel much different. perhaps a lingering feeling of emptiness, but the purpose it serves is still there.
however, if you get rid of the mouth which you've grown up with the entire span of your life so far, and replace it with a new one, the significance is no longer there.
the mouth that has seen you through your childhood and adulthood, your adolescence. surely, you'll miss that mouth of yours a lot?
well, you'd have no choice but to use that new mouth of yours, but it'll never feel the same.
your first mouth, it'll always be your first mouth.
the mouth that was truly yours.
haha. found the story stupid? we're all entitled to our own opinions.
fuck you.
hahaha. it was hilarious. there we were, eating in the corner, the occasional voices punctuating our simple feast. although the voices seemed closer than comfortable, they never really approached our direction.
suddenly, in the opposite direction, a dark figure approached. this dark menacing figure... it chased us out of our compound. okay, so it wasn't our compound. but we were having fun!
yeah we got chased out.
so there we sat outside the building, doing nothing. nothing, except the exchange of words between each other.
well, we decided to walk back to school when we saw SP. how unlucky. well i guess we all escaped safely and reached our final destinations in one piece.
thank goodness.
haha. found this off my friend's blog. it's quite deep:
"Have you ever been in love? Horrible isn't it? It makes you so vulnerable. It opens your chest and it opens up your heart and it means that someone can get inside you and mess you up. You build up all these defenses, you build up a whole suit of armor, so that nothing can hurt you, then one stupid person, no different from any other stupid person, wanders into your stupid life...You give them a piece of you. They didn't ask for it. They did something dumb one day, like kiss you or smile at you, and then your life isn't your own anymore. Love takes hostages. It gets inside you. It eats you out and leaves you crying in the darkness, so simple a phrase like 'maybe we should be just friends' turns into a glass splinter working its way into your heart. It hurts. Not just in the imagination. Not just in the mind. It's a soul-hurt, a real gets-inside-you-and-rips-you-apart pain. I hate love."
-Neil Gaiman
deep, very deep.
Love. It could be the best thing or the worst thing that ever happened to you.
i've decided to let it rest.
after all, i believe in karma. what goes around comes around.
I have this really good playlist on shuffle on my itunes right now. somehow all the right songs found themselves into the playlist. haha. there are no right or wrong decisions.
there are only two type of decisions.
decisions with the desired consequences and
decisions with the undesired consequences.
sometimes you will never find out if it was the better decision or not until much later in the future. whatever decisions are made cannot be turned back.
we can only make further decisions in a bid to perhaps salvage the first decision. the vicious cycle continues from here.
pain? why pain?
pain is subjective.
pain, the unpleasant feeling causing extreme discomfort.
pain, not all pain is bad.
the pain in my leg signifies that i've used it to it's fullest. i am making full use of my leg. (why the knee i don't know how)
the pain in my head signifies that i've been using my head to the fullest. whether it's headering soccer balls, thinking of maths problems or headbutting Italian defenders, i've been using my head.
the pain in my heart? the pain in my heart...i don't know this pain.
familiar pain, yet unfamiliar altogether. i know nothing about it.
don't like this post?
go ahead, shoot me.
