[[just like broken glass...]]

"with every opportunity given....sleep."
-words of wisdom from the guys of lincoln group.

just like a dream,
it was over.
just like that.

in the blink of an eye, 7 days just disappeared just like that.
i remember the first day, where i thought to myself that the next 7 days would seem like eternity, and for the first couple of days it did seem like eternity as we counted down the days...

but as the programme went on, i thought less and less about counting on and suddenly time passed just like that. now i'm back home in singapore.

haha i'll miss lincoln group, jem, ben, jamie, fang yu, mei keen, hui jun, audrey, wan ting, sixuan, rachel. haha. especially jem and ben, thanks guys for the funny companionship and the stupid talks every night, or almost every night (unless i fell asleep)

haha, the twine breadloaf bombs, peeing off a cutter sail boat, these once-in-a-lifetime experiences.

haha. by the way, the above quote? we abided by it all the way. it was our main rule, with every given opportunity our heads would be on a flat surface and we'd be sleeping soundly, refusing to get up at all. haha. i guess we did piss the girls off every morning when we were the lats to wake up. except ben, who was the only guy who could wake up.

me and jem? haha. waking us up was a hard time. we missed all our sentry guard duties because we couldn't wake up. HAHAHA.

tent pegs: $0.50 each.
water bottles: $0.70 each.
wearing the same set of clothing for 4 days straight? priceless.

haha. we decided we'd be alpha males, with the brains, the braun, the attitude and of course the smellstenchfragrance.

ben/me: "so, who's gonna buy me another tiger?"
ben/me: "jessica....alpha"

hahaha. pricesless. ben and i were just going crazy over the tiger beer lights in the distance from the sembawang camp, and it was our motivation to row from shore to the cutter sailboat from shore, against the current. we were alpha males with a mission, to head as close as possible to the tiger beer lights. unfortunately, there were coast guards and 4 obs instructors standing in our way.

haha well alpha male remained our motivation throughout the camp, and it was also our motivation to complete the final height activity. me and ben did the double dunnowhat dunnowhat... it was scary but come to think of it now it was fun. i managed to overcome my fear of heights to complete the activity. heh, i did the inside activity TWICE.

btw, this was the inverse tower thing...

heck. i didn't know how. i fear the escalator at takashimaya near kinokuniya. and yet i managed to complete the height activities. awesome.

well i'm brain dead with a fever, so goodnight and i shall blog about obs when my mind is more clear.

goodnight everybody.
