just a reflection on some stuff.
valentine's day.
a day of love, some may say.
a day where you remember friends, thank them for anything.
well if thats the case, then do we really need valentine's day?
well, if you love someone, you should let that person know all the time how much you love him or her, and not just wait for a particular day to do so, or show an 'extra' bit of love for someone. it's riduculous when you think about it sometimes i guess.
and if you have friends, does it take 1 day out of 365 days to remind you how much you care about someone?
are we humans such pathetic beings, that we have to rely on a reminder date, the 14th of february, to remind us how much some people mean to us?
it's sad. really.
i won't go on. i know people will get offended and emo over what i say, send hate mail and whatever.
but then again, thats not my problem. just the dude who invented this day.
really. if i loved someone, i'd tell that person everyday how much i love him/her (i think i'd choose 'her' over 'him'.) and well. even if i don't tell that person i love her everyday, i'd at least show that i care. actions speak louder than words, after all.
and well. friendship. i won't just say 'thanks for being a friend' and run away. i'd be a good friend too.
valentine's day. really, is it necessary?
perhaps. if you really need a day to remind you how much your friends mean to you. and well. maybe this day does have some significance to people.
well its 'total defence day' today. i shan't go on about valentine's already.
and well.
i love you.
i'm not lying. (:
'happy total defence day' everyone.
i found it rather stupid, and propaganda-ish.
